Psalm 23 : Solomon’s Rendition
Psalm 23 from the bible is one of the most potent pieces of spiritual and religious text that I've read to date. However, I've often had a hard time reading it because of the vibration it carries and invokes through the words used in the psalm. Because of this, I have rewritten and re-aligned these words as a means of raising the vibration of the psalm from a place of 'evil', 'mercy' and 'enemies' to the frequency of unconditional love.
The lord is my shepherd,
I am strengthened through the presence of God within.
As I rest in arms of the divine,
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
She leads me beside quiet waters,
And my soul is refreshed.
So the day that I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no thing,
For thou art with me,
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me,
And thou preparest a table before me in the presence of Source.
Annointed is my head,
I am baptised, ordained
and held in the light.
In loving communion with the divine,
I honour all of creation.
My cup overflows with love,
It runs forth, it runs over.
Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world,
Through all the days of my life,
I am championed through a limitless supply of light, of love and of strength,
As the grace of God dwells within me forever.
